Contest Details

Koch Vision, the New York-based independent video production and distribution company, in conjunction with the Starlog Group, publisher of Fangoria Magazine and other publications, completed the first ever search for the best short horror films compiling the winning entries for DVD release in the Spring of 2004.

The FANGORIA BLOOD DRIVE determined the best original short-form genre films (less than 13 minutes) from American filmmakers. Films were judged on creativity, commerciality, and technical merit. The contest was open to filmmakers of all ages and levels of expertise.

Submissions for the contest were accepted from September 1st, 2003 to December 31st, 2003.
